Chainsaw Art Comes To Patrington Haven

Date: May 30, 2018

As you have been travelling around the park, you may have noticed some new creatures pop up around the lakeside.

Karl Barker is an artist from North Yorkshire and creates ‘bespoke, wooden chainsaw sculptures from 2 foot owls ,7 foot lions, to large tree carvings and each one is filled with character and charisma.’ See his website for more information here.

We love his unique and creative pieces and thought they would be a stunning feature to our lakeside here at Patrington Haven Leisure Park.

We have 8 amazing creatures around the park, which currently do not have names…

Here at Patrington Haven we love to get you involved in anything surrounding the park. We will be naming the sculptures in the coming months and will be hosting an online poll for you to chose which each statue should be named on the park. Please feel free to vote and help us choose!

We now have Oscar the Owl, Cyril the Squirrel, now it’s time to name the penguin…

What should we call the penguin sculpture?

Polly
Terry
Paul

Have you spotted them all on the park yet?
