The Long-Awaited Re-Opening of Guys Café Bar & Restaurant
It has been over a week since Guys café Bar and Restaurant was able to open its doors and welcome customers back through its doors again.
And what a busy time is has been!
The new menu has been well received by Owners, here are a few of our most popular dishes from the first week of
To start, the creamy garlic mushrooms served with homemade olive and rosemary focaccia bread.
The chefs’ seasonal specials have proved a huge hit, with our most popular dish being the pan roasted duck breast with smoked garlic mashed potato, cumin glazed carrot puree, black pudding bonbon with bramble and port jus, it really has been flying out (pardon the pun).
On our family favorites our most popular dish was Guy’s Signature Burger, a locally sourced, handmade 100% British beef burger, loaded with cheese, bacon and served with chunky chips or skin on fries.
Our locally sourced Mr. Moo’s Toffee ice-cream Cookie Sundae, form our desserts menu was a fan favourite.
Our bar is fully stocked, and our customers enjoyed our new lager Madri Exceptional in particular, this is a unique collaboration between the brewers of La Sagra and Molson Coors, with all the taste and characteristics of the Mediterranean style lager, perfect to enjoy with friends on our fully heated terrace area, enjoying the views of East Yorkshires 5 star Holiday Park.
It was so popular that by the end of the week it had sold out. Never fear, it is now back in stock and ready for customers to enjoy again.
The Sunday carvery was as usual a big success, with a choice of a small, regular or large carvery and up to four different meats, served with fresh seasonal vegetables and all locally sourced ingredients its not wonder it is always so popular.
Our carvery chefs loved seeing all our wonderful customers again, and they cannot wait to see you all next Sunday.

After 196 days of closure the team from Guys Cafe Bar & Restaurant, located in Patrington Hull, were very eager to get back to what they do best, providing 5 star food and service to our customers.
The takeaway continues to be a popular choice with customers in and around Patrington & the surrounding East Riding villages.

I am so pleased to be back at work and off Furlough, I have loved seeing all of customers again. And it has been lovely to see a lot of new faces. I have really enjoyed being able to have a chat and a catch up with all of my team members. It has been nice to hear all the positive feedback from the new menu. I am already looking forward to my next shift.

What an incredibly busy bank holiday we have had!
