Benefits of a Static Caravan
Embrace Spacious Comfort and Year-Round Enjoyment
Travelling around the UK in a touring caravan is a great way to see the country, but it can be stressful when all families really want is a relaxing getaway. And that’s something we completely understand. After a while, a lot of families start looking for somewhere to call their own. A permanent base they can head to without any of the planning, where they’ve got their own space to unwind and a private garden to enjoy. No setting up, no packing down, just arriving and relaxing.
With a modern and stylish holiday home, customers can enjoy everything the East Yorkshire countryside has to offer without any of those downsides. Our static caravans come with all the home comforts families could ever need, including showers, fully equipped kitchens, double glazing, and central heating. But honestly, modern holiday homes have come a long way. Think open-plan living spaces, stylish interiors, freestanding furniture, and in many cases integrated appliances that wouldn’t look out of place in a house. So whether you’re cosying up on a rainy autumn evening or making the most of a long summer weekend, you’ll have everything you need to feel properly at home.

How Part Exchange Works at Patrington Haven
How Part Exchange Works at Patrington Haven
It's simpler than customers may thinkA lot of people put off exploring a part exchange because they’re not sure what’s involved. So let’s walk you through it. We’ve stripped the whole thing back to three pieces of the jigsaw that need to fit together, and once they do, everything else tends to fall into place pretty quickly. The team will walk customers through each of these at their own pace. There’s no pressure, and no rushing. Here at Patrington Haven Leisure Park, we want customers to feel confident about every decision before they commit to anything.
The three things to think about are:

the costs

the caravan
What they want from their next holiday home, whether that’s more space, a different layout, or a higher specification model.

the garden plot
If they’re already an owner on the park, they can choose to stay on their existing plot or move to a new one, the team just need to check the new caravan will fit. Either way, every plot has its own character, so it’s worth thinking about what matters most to their family. Some people love being close to the Country Club facilities while others prefer a quieter spot tucked away in one of our cul-de-sacs. The team will help families find the right fit.
Choosing the Right Caravan
Choosing a new holiday home is genuinely one of the fun bits. Most people think about the obvious things first, like the number of bedrooms or the style of the kitchen. But there are a few other things worth considering that people sometimes overlook. Beyond the specification, it’s worth thinking about who uses the caravan and whether that’s changed since you last bought. Grown-up children, grandchildren, or simply wanting more space for yourselves are all good reasons to rethink the layout. Open-plan living, free-standing furniture, integrated appliances, and the number of bedrooms are all things the team will talk through with you.

THE THREE TYPES
OF STATIC CARAVAN

Holiday Caravan
These are manufactured for seasonal use and don't have the highest levels of insulation. They're a solid, comfortable option if you're mainly using your holiday home through the warmer months.
SuperWarm Caravan
A step up from a standard holiday caravan, SuperWarm models come factory-fitted with double glazing, central heating, and higher levels of insulation in the walls, floor, and ceiling. They're significantly warmer on cooler evenings, and a popular choice for those who like to make the most of the spring and autumn too.
Residential Specification Caravan
Built to BS 3632 (the highest standard), these have the best insulation, double glazing, and central heating available. If customers want to use their holiday home throughout the extended season in proper comfort, this is the one to look at.What Is A Caravan Worth?
Getting the valuation right
The value we’d put on an existing caravan depends on a number of things: the age, make, model, overall condition, and what’s included in the part exchange. There’s no fixed formula, which is why we’d always recommend booking a visit so our team can take a proper look at your current caravan before giving you a figure. What we can tell you is that we aim to be fair and transparent. We’ve been doing this for over 40 years and our reputation means everything to us. If customers want to get a rough idea before they come in, feel free to get in touch and have a chat with the team first.

Can Existing Owners Move to a Diferent Garden Plot?
One of the things that makes Patrington Haven Leisure Park genuinely different from other parks is that every holiday home comes with its own private garden plot. So when it comes to part exchange, the plot is a real part of the decision.
The majority of owners choose to go back onto their existing plot when they upgrade. They know it, they love it, and there’s something really lovely about staying exactly where they’ve always been but in a bigger, better holiday home. That said, some owners do take the opportunity to move. Sometimes it’s because the new caravan is too large for the existing plot. Sometimes they want better views, a sunnier aspect, or a plot closer to the Country Club. Whatever the reason, if there’s an available plot that suits them better, the team will show them what’s out there. If they’re keeping the existing decking and it’s in good condition, the team can help arrange for it to be transferred. And if they’re thinking about upgrading the decking at the same time, that’s something we can sort too.
