The local village of Patrington

The beautiful village of Patrington is only a short walk or 5-minute drive from the Park. Patrington is home to one of the most beautiful churches in England, nicknamed ‘The Queen of Holderness’ and well as a number of quaint shops and cafés.

If you love quiet and pebbled beaches away from the crowds, Tunstall Beach is a great choice. This is a tranquil beach that’s just off the beaten track, around a 20-minute drive from the Park.

Enjoy peaceful sea views out toward the North Sea and over the rugged coastline from this small local beach in Easington, around a 15-minute drive away from the Park.

Spurn National Nature Reserve

Take a scenic trip to Spurn Point where you’ll find stunning local landscape and the wildlife-rich coastal conservation area with wildflowers and migratory birds, plus a visitor centre.

Just a 15 minute drive away from the Park, you’ll find a simple bungalow hiding an entrance to an underground nuclear bunker. Descend the stairs and venture along a 120 metre tunnel, pass through the blast doors where you’ll be immersed in the history of cold war defence.
