Excellent experience, though this is our 3rd caravan with you, so we do know what to expect!

Josie helped us find the perfect caravan!

A beautiful caravan in the perfect position allowing us to use the excellent facilities on site.
The site is immaculate, so clean and well maintained.

We chose to upgrade our caravan and stay on Patrington Haven Leisure Park after being here for 9 years. It’s the best park on the East Coast. It’s a family run park with family values. We wouldn’t be anywhere else.

Big thank you to Nick who helped us from start to finish. Both with the paperwork and practical aspect of moving caravans. His support and communication has been excellent throughout. Also Guy and the rest of the team from office to grounds men. You’re all stars!

We enjoy the pool, the walks, the events, the food and the people on the park the most. The facilities are top class. I love coming here and relaxing and catching up with friends. I also love that we don’t have to wade through wet grass and puddles to get in and out of the caravan. Patrington Haven Leisure Park is so much more than that!

When we first came to the park 9 years ago I said it was a hidden jewel on the east coast …and it still is.

On our drive to see the park for the first time it was pouring with rain and looking really miserable, as we arrived at PHLP the sun came out. Was this a sign we asked ourselves!
As we drove towards the reception, we commented how beautiful the flower beds looked. What a fantastic first impression.

We had arranged to meet Josie who gave us a very friendly welcome. We sat down with a coffee and discussed what we were looking for. Josie was very knowledgeable not only about the park and facilities, but also about the different models of caravans that would suit our needs.

Josie gave us a guided tour of the leisure club and park, all areas were spotlessly clean and everyone we passed had a smile on their face. Josie seemed to know everyone and they were all happy to see her. Everyone said hello, the dogs love her.

We had a lovely lunch in Guy’s restaurant, all the staff were very happy, friendly and helpful.

Josie then showed us some caravans that may have suited and garden plots to place them. We could not make our minds up about the caravan but knew Patrington Haven Leisure Park was the place we wanted to be. We had looked at 5 different parks before Patrington Haven Leisure Park and they did not come close to the friendliness and cleanliness of PHLP.

Not once did we feel pressured to commit to anything, we said we would go home and discuss caravan choice and get back to Josie. After a few days of discussion we decided neither caravan or garden plot were right for us. Josie said she would look for something else and get back to us.

Josie stuck to her word and got back to us with a different caravan and more choice of garden plots. We arranged to view on a Sunday, just so we could try the carvery. The carvery was fantastic, the caravan was perfect and so was the garden plot. Just like the man from Del-Monte we both said YES.

The whole process has been made so easy and stress free by all of the staff at PHLP. We took hold of our keys on 20th November and can’t wait to enjoy all that Patrington Haven Leisure Park has to offer.

Since moving to the area 4 years ago we have been using the country club and all its facilities.

We always enjoy coming to The Country Club, the whole family has a membership and we come to the gym almost daily.

The gym is well stocked and the range of classes available are great for all ages.

This is a great way for us to spend time together with our children and socialise with the other wonderful members from Patrington Haven.

The gym and club are always clean, everyone that works there is happy and they can give you information and advice if required, they are amazing.

We have always dreamt of owning a holiday home on the Spanish mainland. With concerns about security and also acknowledging how infrequently we would be likely to make use of somewhere abroad while we’re both working full time in our business, we realised it just wasn’t going to work for us. That’s when I started looking at holiday homes in the UK.

We have friends who own a lodge on the East Coast and so invited them round for drinks to chat through what they liked about it, what they wished they had known before they bought it and things they might have done differently and with that information, I started my search.

I reviewed lots of places online and Patrington Haven Leisure Park seemed to fit the bill. We arranged a visit and bought a caravan the same day! With hindsight, that could have been a mistake but the place just ‘felt’ right. Josie who showed us round was lovely and not pushy at all. We were shown a range of caravans within our budget and we went for a mid-range on a lovely sunny garden plot. The peace of mind of having a 12-month guarantee was another selling point, as was the fact that the site doesn’t insist you upgrade your caravan at any specific age – as long as it’s maintained well, there is no age limit which is quite unusual.

The buying process was really straight forward and the help from all the team was fabulous.

After 6 months, a much newer, slightly larger caravan came up for sale at the side of the lake. Steve is a keen fisherman and the fishing lake was a ‘must have’ for us when choosing the site, so when a lodge became available, we decided to go for it!

We would have been very happy if this was our permanent Patrington holiday home but when Josie told us there was a double size lodge coming up for sale two doors down, it was too good an opportunity to miss and so around 15 months later, we moved once more. Again, Josie and the team have been so helpful in making sure that everything is just right for us. But that’s it now, I’ve promised Steve no more moves!

Whether it’s an older caravan or one of the super new models, buying is a serious investment but one we haven’t regretted for a minute. We live just over two hours away so initially intended to visit alternate weekends, but we tend to come out every weekend if we don’t have plans at home.

Despite having a full kitchen with all the kit, I rarely cook as both the food and staff at Guys are fabulous. The entertainment programme adds to the holiday ‘vibe’ and we always try to make it to the special Owner Select events – something our friends who own at a site further up the coast are quite jealous of!

The minute you drive on to the park, with its beautifully maintained grounds, you immediately relax. The other owners have been very welcoming and there’s a real sense of community and loyalty to the site which speaks for itself.

We love it and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of holiday home ownership.
