We’ve loved the park for the last 7 years and we traded in our old static!
Chris and Nick where brilliant also all the park staff who worked in vey poor weather to get our new van!

Our Patrington Haven Leisure Park lifestyle started in September 2020 when we stayed at an owner’s lodge for a short break with our new puppy, Toby! Fast forward to three days later, after experiencing the wonderful environment at the park, we purchased our first holiday home, receiving the keys in early October 2020.

When we initially arrived at Patrington Haven Leisure Park in the September, it became immediately apparent what an amazing community and place it is. From the beautifully manicured grounds and flowers, relaxing environment and surroundings, fantastic 5* facilities, to the extremely friendly and caring staff and owners alike. It’s truly transformed our way of life since then and we are now five years in to our journey and on our third, and final, dream lodge with beautiful uninterrupted views of the countryside and sunset. We love it so much that we have now been joined by friends, as well as my twin sister, Suzy Wright, who has recently become an owner too. As well as us, they also see how magical Patrington Haven Leisure Park and the community it has created is. We are so blessed to be part of this.

It’s fair to say that our “happy place” journey at Patrington Haven Leisure Park wouldn’t have been possible without the support and unparalleled knowledge from the Sales Team, in particular, Josie Allerston. From the start, Josie has guided us through the system and only ever provided support and advice that would benefit us. Truly the only thing you would ask for when making such an important decision. We are forever grateful for this wonderful service and what we have achieved together.

Being an owner at Patrington Haven Leisure Park has transformed, not only the way we think about spending our spare time, but increased our understanding of how important a special place to relax and unwind is in life. We can honestly say that we would recommend this wonder community to anyone who was thinking about taking a leap of faith and purchasing their very own “happy place”.

When we came to Patrington Haven Leisure Park for the first time we had different ideas of what, if anything we were looking for.

My partner was interested in the fishing lake and maybe a low cost second hand holiday home, I was not sure if it would be for me.

Josie was so patient and explained everything in detail.

Josie went through all of our options and showed us different caravans and garden plots.

I was convinced! We picked a new Holiday home and a superb garden plot!

Everyone we have had contact with is so helpful and friendly, and we have been made to feel so welcome.

We definitely feel we have made the right decision.

I am so glad I listened to my friend when she told me I would like Patrington Haven Leisure Park, because now we both have a place we can enjoy together with our friends and family.

We looked at a couple of holiday parks, but Patrington Haven stood out.

Josie kept in touch with us throughout the entire purchasing process, and our handover went smoothly.

We have always dreamt of owning a holiday home on the Spanish mainland. With concerns about security and also acknowledging how infrequently we would be likely to make use of somewhere abroad while we’re both working full time in our business, we realised it just wasn’t going to work for us. That’s when I started looking at holiday homes in the UK.

We have friends who own a lodge on the East Coast and so invited them round for drinks to chat through what they liked about it, what they wished they had known before they bought it and things they might have done differently and with that information, I started my search.

I reviewed lots of places online and Patrington Haven Leisure Park seemed to fit the bill. We arranged a visit and bought a caravan the same day! With hindsight, that could have been a mistake but the place just ‘felt’ right. Josie who showed us round was lovely and not pushy at all. We were shown a range of caravans within our budget and we went for a mid-range on a lovely sunny garden plot. The peace of mind of having a 12-month guarantee was another selling point, as was the fact that the site doesn’t insist you upgrade your caravan at any specific age – as long as it’s maintained well, there is no age limit which is quite unusual.

The buying process was really straight forward and the help from all the team was fabulous.

After 6 months, a much newer, slightly larger caravan came up for sale at the side of the lake. Steve is a keen fisherman and the fishing lake was a ‘must have’ for us when choosing the site, so when a lodge became available, we decided to go for it!

We would have been very happy if this was our permanent Patrington holiday home but when Josie told us there was a double size lodge coming up for sale two doors down, it was too good an opportunity to miss and so around 15 months later, we moved once more. Again, Josie and the team have been so helpful in making sure that everything is just right for us. But that’s it now, I’ve promised Steve no more moves!

Whether it’s an older caravan or one of the super new models, buying is a serious investment but one we haven’t regretted for a minute. We live just over two hours away so initially intended to visit alternate weekends, but we tend to come out every weekend if we don’t have plans at home.

Despite having a full kitchen with all the kit, I rarely cook as both the food and staff at Guys are fabulous. The entertainment programme adds to the holiday ‘vibe’ and we always try to make it to the special Owner Select events – something our friends who own at a site further up the coast are quite jealous of!

The minute you drive on to the park, with its beautifully maintained grounds, you immediately relax. The other owners have been very welcoming and there’s a real sense of community and loyalty to the site which speaks for itself.

We love it and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of holiday home ownership.
